Mercy May Cry,a band consist of great and humble musicians.Formed on the mid of April 2007,the band started to play and blend in different types of styles and thus comes in the magic of the band.
It was just another day in a new environment.The band members were all in the same new school(Republic Poly).
Muddy,Alif,Bear and John were classmates and were soon planning to form a band.
What made us so convinced to form the band?
Well Alif has the enthusiasm and the drive that shows so clearly. He is the rhythms’ in the band and he is one creative guy. He is heavily influenced to ballade, Old' School Rock and those acoustic stuff. He is one Maestro when it comes to plucking.
Muddy is another rare breed. He was a guitarist but then was converted into a bassist and thus the bassist of the band. His guitar skills were thus come in handy as he is one great bassist that can shred and make riffs out of nothing.
He is heavily influenced by deathmetal, speedmetal, and blackmetal.
The Vocals of the band is Fit. She is widely known and is a powerhouse. She has great range and also she is hardworking .She is like the gem in the band. We have a few originals and soon will be put up.
Recently,MMC have got two new members which will help us in continuing our journey in the music scene.
Farhan is our current lead guitarist. His experience in playing guitar for years have helped us to be more versatile in playing our music.
Our current drummer is Izan from a band called Ignition. He's one great drummer and influenced by old school rock and metal music. Both of them will be with us to fulfill our dreams.
