GeneralOur specific program: During their stay, all of the participants have structured days including worship, Bible study time, intensive Christian individual counseling and group counseling. They are also required to take responsibility for themselves by taking care of their environment: cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. Other services we provide as needed include: • Life skills education • Personal Finance Classes • GED preparation and exams • College preparatory classes • Job application and interview preparation • Computer skills training • Fitness and nutrition education

Mercy Ministries offers a free-of-charge residential counseling program that helps young women between the ages of 16 – 28 who face life-controlling issues such as drug and alcohol abuse, addictions, depression, eating disorders and unplanned pregnancy. The Mercy Ministries program is voluntary, Christ-centered, and the average length of stay is approximately six months.

Mercy Ministries exists to provide opportunities for young women to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power. Because we are a Christian non-profit organization, our support must come from private sources such as individuals, businesses, churches, and foundations.
