Electrified folk music
---Meredith performing "October", the title track from her 2007 album---
On subjects from deer heads to granite quarries, Meredith produces "finely-crafted folk-rock" (Lynn Saxberg - Ottawa Citizen) that will draw you in and keep you listening. Her tunes range from traditional folk to rock to alt country to pop. Her rollicking anthems and soulful ballads are infused with funky rhythms and infectious guitar riffs. This is one performer you don't want to miss!

Hey Meredith! It was great to see you again at the Free Times Cafe. I enjoyed your set. Hearing you talking about composing several winter songs inspired me to write one of my own. It's on my site, and if you get the chance, please let me know what you think. It's called "Winter, Oh Winter". Cheers!
Hey Meredith! I recently finished AP Writer's Craft, and I MUST say, that I've learned more about myself, my writing style, and my songs... mainly that all of them aren't as deep as I thought they were! How are you? Sounds like you're really busy with shows, that's really cool! ~ an old Lisgar friend
We are performing at ZAPHOD BEEBLEBROX in OTTAWA next Monday - opening for THE INCREMENTS. The show is a FREE SHOW. We will be on at 9 PM SHARP. All 8 of us (i've asked around, and it's true) hope to see you there. Let us know so we can look out for your bad-ass.
Hey Mer! That's a great line up of shows, glad you'll be in & out of TO through Feb. Will definitely try to catch you, maybe even meet up, ya think? J.
what a clever way to say "I don't like your music"! Yes, the drawings are made by myself. If you look at some more, go to my illustration-page www.myspace.com/jeanpaulmampelle
