Fusing folk, contemporary, gospel and the soulful sound of blues, Meredith Rounsley brings honest and passionate music to a generation searching for healing and truth. With influences like BarlowGirl, Bethany Dillon, Jon Foreman, KT Tunstall, and Starfield, she presents the Hope of Christ through her anointed lyrics and captivating vocals.

Meredith has always lived in a Christian home, so the concept of God’s love and forgiveness was apparent at a very early age. At fourteen she made a personal commitment to Christ and was inspired to use her musical talents for God instead of trying to push through her own agenda. It was a time of choosing; of letting go of a lot of dreams and handing over control of every part of her life. It was a choice to surrender. That’s right around the time that God began opening doors for Meredith musically.

Meredith serves as worship leader at Salisbury Christian School, where she is entering her senior year of high school. Through this and other ministry opportunities she shares how God uses us more in our brokenness than when we try to keep our shortcomings under the radar. Transparency is the key to her ministry.

As a singer/songwriter, Meredith credits her family as her best friends and greatest support. From her first chords at age thirteen, to her first opening for a local Christian band, “Proof of Love”, her family has encouraged, inspired and challenged her to go hard after God and all He has for her life. When describing her ministry, Meredith says, “God has given me the ability to share about my struggles, so I’m just going to continue doing that and following His lead. It has yet to be boring!”
