Influences
Meredith grew up in the small rural town of Rolling Fork, Mississippi, the birthplace of legendary bluesman, Muddy Waters. Having grown up in a musical world defined by the blues, musical icons such as the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton, whose music was influenced by Waters, have become natural favorites of Meredith's. Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Pat Benetar, Eva Cassidy and Bette Midler have also informed her sound.
