Featuring the warped sound-generation skills of audiomancing improgrammer A d macHine and the twisted sound-manipulation talents of improgramming audiomancer Bendy, Merge into Stripes channels "music" directly from the shimmering "consciousness" of the Non Ens beyond the Astroverse, and crystallises it in crisp digital stereo.
Performed "live", with one electromancer feeding fragmented loops, fractured samples and analog rhythms and riffs into the modern day general processing tool of the other (which in turn nebulises, distorts, distills and bottles these moments of audio chaos into even stranger forms), Merge into Stripes creates disturbient works of "art" that not even the members of the band are truly responsible for.
Who IS responsible?
Clearly, the non-beings who Unlurk in the Nonrealm of Semiexistence itself: the Ancient Ones.
Truly experimental in nature, Merge into Stripes have so far utilised the RealTime Interference Capabilities of reel-to-reel tape recordings of test tones, caged canaries and budgerigars, the humyn voice, effects pedals, found reel-to-reel documentaries and presentations, a 3-string electric guitar, pop CDs, metal CDs, blues CDs, soundtrack CDs, techno CDs, video cassettes, DVDs, and a live wandering rainbow lorikeet, to further enhance the unpredictable dynamic of the recordings.
With so much removal from the whims and preferences of the "musicians" involved, and with such transdimensional psycho-ceremonial neurotropic channelling involved, Merge into Stripes constantly play "music" that is on the edge of "reality", and in mortal danger of opening up gates to the Non Ens...
...gates that they may not be able to close.

SEAFAR deliver a fat slice of electric space music - Hegira the sounds of a flight from danger. Wander the streets together, the noise of life muted by sheets of rain, brilliant colours dimmed in a pervading mist of grey. An instrumental amalgam of moody beats and synth drenched noises.
On the 7th day of the 8th month of the 9th
year of this millennium, Dead Ants Rainbow (line-up: Troy Peter James
Naumoff the First, Lachlan Ewbank, and A Demon Sheen) recorded in the
studios of 3PBS FM. the recording went really well, awesome crazy
improv freenoisejazzrockspazz (but of course). but the INTERESTING
discovery was of a set-list, from some band that had previously graced
the very same studio some time long gone. the songs on the
found-setlist were:
1) Mingin
2) Where Da Partae
3) Suicide
4) Blazin
5) 2 Gacked
and
6) Victim
so,
as we had a gig that very night at the Tote, we decided to use that
set-list as our own, playing six improvised pieces under those names.
and the result was so awesome and unpredictable and free and cosmik, we
now present you with a live-recording, for free.
After i've cleaned up my whole player i finally managed to put up a new track called 'PAST FUTURE' . Dream Trance Style so if u like - give it a try and say what you think. Would be damn great ! =)
