Sorry for the generic message - too much to type over n over - I hope you are doing well! ************* I'm writing to let you know about a play I'm directing for the UNF Women's Center. It's the Vagina Monologues - a terrific production that is used around the world to raise awareness and money to fight violence against women.
Our beneficiaries this year include The UNF Women's Center, Women's Center of Jacksonville, Betty Griffin House and the VDAY campaign's spotlight project (the Congo.)
Our performance will be February 27th and 28th, 7:30 pm at UNF's Robinson Theater. Student tickets are $8 and General Admission is $12. If you are able and willing, please come out and support this fabulous event. This is the largest play I've ever directed. Two different casts, about 40 people total from both the UNF and Jacksonville community and they are all volunteers! Friday night's Spotlight piece will be performed by Anita Durst and Saturday's will be performed by Dorothy Pittman Hughes. (www. dorothypitmanhughes. com)
