Well if you're here its obvious that either you know me or you're here to learn more about me, either way I'll give you some info about what makes me who I am. *I wouldn't be here if I didn't have faith in Jesus Christ, he's been there for me before I even took my first breath. My experiences in life the years of hurt and disappointment has made me a resilient, intelligent, and responsible woman who is wise beyond her years. *Without hurt you can't know what true love is and I've been blessed to know love, being with my man for almost... 10 Years! Wow and so many people believed it wouldn't last, thanks for fueling our love it continues to burn stronger everyday. Sometimes I question where I would be without him but I don't have to answer that because he is there for me. Love you Shawnie <3 I wrote that statement about a year ago not knowing that the relationship would come to an end without an explanation. I could've easily erased it but that is not how it feels. How do you erase someone who has been in your life so long...The answer is you realize how great you were and how wrong they were for you. When someone doesn't realize what they have is good the Lord takes it away. Consider me gone. *Though I've had struggles I can say I'm a better person because of it, I'm currently an advocate for youth in foster care who don't feel like they have a voice; I am their voice through writing and speaking presentations that I do nationwide. I'm currently researching to create a film about film transitioning youth in their last year in care, and some of the hardships that they face. Look out for that. *I'm currently in my senior at SUNY Purchase where my major is Media, Society and the Arts. What exactly do I want to do? A lot right now so I guess I'm on the road to being another multi-media mogul like Tyra Banks.I know my future career will deal with mass media since this is a huge part of our daily lives, so much so that we can't escape it, we are prisoners to media. I've had some written work published, I've done a magazine ad for adoption (Hope to do more its so much fun), and I’ve done theatre... I'm not limiting myself to any one thing. If you know me you know I'm into a lot but when I do something I'm dedicated, whether it is school, planning an event, vocal lessons (LOL don't ask). To know me is to love me.
