Merlin's Keep are a five-piece Celtic Folk Rock band originating from Grimsby on the east coast of England. They have been together since October 2006, and as well as being excellent musicians, they are also great friends, which becomes evident when they perform on stage.

Critically reviewed as "Rustic Mamas and Papas with a social conscience", Merlin's Keep's music is an exuberant mix of original material with three- and four-part harmonies, covers of old favourites, and foot-stomping traditional fiddle tunes. Their self-penned music is inspired by anything and everything, but always says something about the band's ethos.

Merlin's Keep pride themselves on their versatility, being equally comfortable at traditional folk clubs, festivals and hardened rock venues. Their sets can be tailored to suit any occasion.

Their debut album 'Wide Avalonian Skies' contains all the best elements of the Merlin's Keep sound, and puts the band's musicality, passion and sensitivity on full display.
