Merlyn Martin a.k.a. djmerlyn is known for his progressive mixing style. Called the "Copperfield of House / Techno, unequivocally Rock Steady" by Urb Magazine. Integrating the ever progressive sounds of Techno / House in his global podcast Subdivisions which is currently downloaded in 50 plus countries globally,

2009 has been a solid year of music production for Merlyn Martin. April saw The Thee-O & Merlyn Martin "Smack Attack" release on MIzumo Music, a remix of Thee-O & Thomas Penton's "Slight of Hand" for Perfecto Black. Merlyn Martins latest original Techno/House release "Minor Theft" out on Xela Digital climbed to number 10 on the Progressivehouse.com charts. Merlyn has original tracks coming out on Stranamente Music out of Italy as well as the forthcoming Thee-O & Merlyn Martin "The Mover" E.P.

Merlyn has played with such dj/producers as Frankie Bones, DJ Pierre, Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Mistress Barbara, Christian Smith & John Selway.

Merlyn Martin will always be known for residencies at the legendary West Coast After-Hour clubs Romperoom in San Diego, and Insomnia in Los Angeles!
