About Merrick

History lesson 1: Merrick was started by Bryony Atkinson and Inara George somewhere around 98 or 99. Many permutations and name changes led them to land on Merrick as a band name for no particular reason. Eventually settled on a group of guys to help flesh out songs they wrote and a band was born. 2 records and several tours throughout the u.s. happened. No one was hurt during that. Eventually, Merrick ended as things do somewhere around 2003. History lesson 2: Merrick brings people together in God's way.
