MySpace a place for friends

I'm a thinker, and anyone who can make me think or teach me something is fascinating to me. I have an interest in quite literally everything, from anthropology to world travel to car repair. I sew, write, read, sing, dance, talk, websurf, clean, cuddle, and daydream.

I currently supervise the child support division for our local county government, and I've been working in child support for six years now. I'm unflinchingly loyal, endlessly curious, and either very quiet or incessantly chattering depending on my comfort level with the folks nearby. I may seem easy to boss around, but that's just because I genuinely have an interest in everything and rarely feel strongly enough about small stuff to make an issue of it. If I pick a battle rest assured it's because the subject is deeply important to me. ^~

I like constant mental stimulation, being active and trying new things. I can be very scatterbrained, but when I put my mind to something I'm almost scarily focused. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and proudly... though I think sometimes it makes people uncomfortable because I request the same honesty in return. I often can't deal with emotion until I've figured out how to put it into words, and for that reason when I'm particularly emotional I have the tendency to write (and write, and write) until I can somehow quantify it. I'm all about harmony, taking care of others, and making sure that people are getting along.
