Bio
..Here's a bit about my music:.. .... I make music for the love of making music. That's it. I do not dream of performing in front of 15 people, let alone 15,000 screaming Eminem fans. I played in Hardcore bands throughout high school; had my fill. I do not dream of getting rich from making beats, and do not dream of fame or street cred. So unless you wanna get down for a little studio project or something... .... This is my studio set-up: Apple Mac G5 D2.5 on OSX10.5 w/ M-Audio Delta 1212, (2) Apple Mac G4's (1 on OS9.2.2 / 1 on OSX10.3.9) w/ LaCie Blue Pro display, Apple Mac iBook G3 (10.3.9), Reason 4.0, ReCycle 2.7, ReBirth, ProTools 8 M-Powered, Ableton Live 5, Boss BR-864 digital multitrack recorder, Behringer Truth reference monitors, Akai MPD-32, Edirol PCR-A30 MIDI controller, Novation X-Station25 synth/audio interface/USB controller, custom cherry Korg MicroKORG synth, Korg MS20, Roland MC-09 DSP analog modeling synth, Roland MC-307, Korg KP2 Kaoss Pad, Roland EF-303, Boss SP-303 Dr. Sample, PreSonus Faderport, PreSonus Monitor Station, Furman power conditioner, Numark TTX turntable, Stanton STR8-100 turntable, Sony MDR-V700DJ headphones, Behringer 5-ch DJ mixer, a couple of decent condenser mics and numerous cheap mics, 1986 Epiphone SG Sheraton electric guitar, 1998 Fender Jazz bass, numerous effects pedals, an old bent Yamaha FM synth with MIDI, American DJ CD turntable, Fender PA head & stage monitors, stacks-o-wax, and a handful of weird toys... .. -

Sounds Like
I like to make mad business beats to enjoy while doing jobs for the mob... Sounds like Electronic-influenced Hip-Hop beats from the dark side, with murderous Sci-Fi analog madness; all the while seeking talented MC's from outerspace to rhyme over them. .... /// I had not posted my beats on this site for A LONG TIME for various reasons, but I finally cracked... There are no vocals on any of my tracks, so if you're an MC and you dig on some abstract ish, then let's hook up and see if things click. .... /// MC's from outerspace are encouraged to submit specimens. Please contact booking@mertzmhz.com to colaborate. ..........

Hey sorry it took so long to respond I haven't been checking myspace that often... I went up to Berlin for the rally last weekend it was sick. Too bad I didn't check myspce because it would have been great to have some more company.
If you guys ain't busy Saturday night, my band's playing in Dover along with my old band, the current incarnation of SubSystem - so Mr. Machete and Charlie will be there too. Come hang out if you're around, it should be a brutally drunken night.
haha no doubt dude, let me figure out exactly when I can get the fuuuck outta here
I was just thinkin bout you guys, we definetly need to get toghether. Insanely busy recording right now, but my part should be done by next week, after that I will have some time. You guys free, say maybe memorial weekend or some shit?
