About me:
MySpace Layouts

Layout Created at KillerKiwi.net

www.meshsf.com While I'll never be as hip as Vice thinks it is, people tell me that I rule it. I am a free, bimonthly magazine that covers Bay Area art, music, fashion, politics and some other stuff (you know, like burritos, massage parlors, etc.) . Lil Ole Dirty is a part of me and is the greatest thing in the history of the world. We cover indie rock, independent hip hop and punk rock. We've featured interviews with musicians like Kon & Amir, the RZA, Lyrics Born, Tiger Army, Kinski, Boy Skout, Harold Ray Live in Concert, Blake Schwarzenbach of Jawbreaker and Jets to Brazil, Citizens Here and Abroad, Rogue Wave, Dopestyle 1231, Kelley Stoltz, Crime in Choir, Comets on Fire, Slayer, John Vanderslice, Skrunch Face Projects, Billy Jam, John Vanderslice, Von Iva, Baby Jaymes, Masta Ace, DJ Pone, Hot Snakes, The Ex-Boyfriends, Slayer, Worm is Green, Paris, Billy Jam, The Constantines, Z-Man and many others. Plus interviews with artists, writers, politicians and more.

You can pick me up at any of these locations: Amoeba, Axis Records, BPM, Guitar Center, Haight Street Music, SFO Snowboards, Killowatt, Aquarius Records, El Rio, Mad Dog in the Fog, Molotov's, Slim's, Park Chow, Canvas Cafe, UC Berkeley Campus, Holy Name College, Laney College, Horseshoe Cafe, Cable Car Pizza, The Phoenix Theatre, Lost Weekend Video, Naked Eye Video, Edinburgh Castle, The Elbo Room, Slim's, The Hut, Ben & Nick's, The Ruby Room, Yancy's, Amnesia, Subterranean Shoe Room, Bottom of the Hill, The Parkside, Body Manipulations, Bean There, Cafe Abir, Open Mind Music and about 150 other places in the Bay Area.

If you want us to consider your CD/whatever for review, send it here:

Here's some advice for you: "Take your ass to the barber shop Tell the barber that you're sick of looking like an asshole." www.meshsf.com
Who I'd like to meet:

Writers and photographers who are true artists and don't believe in material things or getting paid for their work for our magazine (We're an all-volunteer army). Artists and illustrators who want to be somewhat well-known in the City for a bit. Record labels, businesses, promoters and other having-money type people who want to buy incredibly cheap ads in our 20,000 circulation magazine so we can pay the above-mentioned writers and photographers at some point and so I can quit my day job and buy a yacht and drink Cristal with Masta P. Our readers and other people that like to read and go to Mesh parties. Sub-Commandante Marcos.

"Thanks for the add" will not be accepted as a comment, nor will fliers for your crappy shows. Also, why are we getting so many "you've been invited to join this band's fan club group" messages? We don't want even like your band. If you start a group called "I hate insert your band here because they really fucking suck and they should stop making music," then yes, we would like to join. (And no, don't worry, we're not talking about anybody in particular [unless we are]).
