Mesina is a ? piece hard rock band based out of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. With combined years of experience and diverse musical backgrounds, the members come together in a focused effort of intense, genuine musical expression.
The band composes hooks through precise, yet natural sounding rhythm and creates tasteful melody & harmony, combined with heartfelt lyrics. They have the ability to hit like a hammer or move you with softer melodic sounds.
In the short time Mesina has been together, they have shared the stage with national acts such as Type O Negative, The Misfits, Dope, ASG, Lordi, Hookers & Blow, The Autumn Offering, Balzac, Bobaflex, Twin Method and Fear Nuttin Band.
Mesina is featured on the WMMR Local Shots 6 album released Sept. 10 2009. They have appeared on "Live at The Nail" radio show which airs on over 30 stations nation wide, as well as WMMR(Philly) "Local Shots" Podcast hosted by Jaxon. The band is also featured in an episode of "Girls and Guns."
They take pride in having a powerful live performance and not just being a studio created project. With an autonomous D.I.Y. mentality, the band has two self released EP's, and is preparing for their debut album "For Your Consideration" set to be released in the Fall of 2009, all of which was engineered and produced by their own Billy Marshall.
