About The Bag Ladies

From a small Northern town with the name of a ferocious animal, to the anonymous city streets of the "Big Smoke", the Bag Ladies are well overdue for some spotlight.

With Rock and Roll dripping through their veins, Messina and Bee played in a garage in Bee's backyard throughout their teen years, in a band they called 'Rikashay'. While sipping vodka and burnig yellow pages, to start the woodstove so their fingers wouldn't freeze, the girls rocked out on guitars and sang their hearts out.

Never losing sight of what each lady held in her BAG, and of course the life long friendship they created since childhood, they did the things young ladies were "supposed" to do: go to college. Messina split to London to take Fashion Design and Bee took off to Belleville to enter the Advertising world, only to later reside in Toronto.

Years passed, only a few. The ladies never let the bond fade between them like the time that quietly passed.

BUT- somehow and in some un-coincidental way, destiny reigned and became what it was supposed to be. Messina's life in London, which wasn't so far from Bee's, finally found the path that brought them back together.

Like not one day had passed between them- The Bag Ladies were born.
