Messengers of Christ (M.O.C) began four years ago (2004) in a talent show at a local New York City parish with the name “J-Unit” (Jesus Unit). It was through the talent show that God revealed His mission to them which was to bring youth and young adults to Him through prayer, adoration, evangelization and modern music.
In this short period, Messengers of Christ has animated many young people for the honor and glory of God. They are a tri-lingual ministry, speaking they speak Spanish, English, and “street” and have performed in a number of events nationwide including at the regional and national “encuentros” for Hispanic youth ministry. They have even led retreats and missions to the Dominican Republic and Haiti. What is so unique about this ministry is its diversity! They are made up of two priests, a deacon, one New York City cop, an after school teacher, a high school student, 2 college students, a banker, a make-up artist, a college counselor, and a public school teacher, to name a few.
The great difference is that they are not a ministry; they are a family in the Lord. Their range of expertise is broad and with all of their unique and distinctive sounds MOC has evolved to become one of the greatest ministries of Catholic music today. With their diverse styles of music to cater to people of a variety of cultures, their genres include hip-hop, Spanish and rock to reaggeaton and ballads. Through this phenomenon they have created a unique sound all their own. They write, play and perform all of their work. Demo available now!

I am so happy that a ministry of young adults has been form for New York youth but also for the youth of the world. I absolutely loved your songs and had a great experience with some of the members in Sydney, Australia at the WYD Events. May God keep blessing you guys, who knows maybe you guys can sing for the Pope in Madrid, you never know. lol
What can I say about this ministry? well my second family is a blessing....i wouldn't prefer being with and sharing all the beautiful gifts we all have with any other group....God has put us here for a purpose and its 2 be MESSENGERS of his Faith....
