What is Metaholic Music?

Metaholic Music is an online metal fanzine/blog written by the fans for the fans! We consist of a handful of metal heads from around the world. We all have different tastes in music, and we all have something different we each want to bring to Metaholic Music.

After becoming disillusioned by some of the major metal magazines, we thought it was time to expose the artists that we love, rather than having them dictated to us by magazines, music TV and big record labels. With so many bands being overlooked for no other reason than them not receiving big backing from labels, we thought it was time things changed. We want to bring good bands to the attention of metal fans around the world, and support our local scenes, as well as bands already signed.

Online since 16 February 2008, we're still newcomers to the metal scene, but gaining in reputation all the time! With news, reviews, interviews and polls, we hope that you find Metaholic Music to be a useful and interesting new way to hear about the bands we all love so much!

So what does Metaholic Music mean?

Metaholic Music is a play on metabolic (being broken down to make it easier to digest) and being addicted to metal (metalholic).

How do I get you to review my bands new demo/EP/album?

If you would like us to review your music, then please drop us a message to metaholicmusic@live.co.uk and we'll try to get something sorted out for you asap!

How about if my band has some news?

We want to be able to cover the news from bands from the grassroots up, so if you do think there's a story we should be covering, please email us at the same address as above.

I'm a promoter/manager, and I would like to know if you'd post up news/reviews on the bands I look after. Who do I contact?

Again, if you drop us an email to the one listed above, we will see what we can do for you!

If you do decide to message us, please remember we are people too, not robots. We'll try our best to help you out, but we really don't like rude people! We'll show you respect and support if you do the same towards us. After all, we may be just mere fans, but fans are the people who buy the records and go to the shows!
