I have no choice but to impose a filtered Friend acceptance system. Due to the rapid influx of spam/hacked/webcam-clone profiles that are sending friend requests my way, I require that a profile has a unique myspace url, i.e. "www.myspace.com/jacklovesmyspace" or along those lines. Also, a profile must have unique content in their detail sections, because if you have the same thing as another profile, then you will not be accepted. I will not accept any friend requests from those who pose for webcam sites, as many of the friend requests I have been receiving are webcam site clones, merely for advertising (ugh).
Lastly, if you seriously want to add me, you must send me a message stating it. If I see the same message, or in a similar structure, more than once, I will delete all friends that may have been accepted who used the said message, and BLOCK all that do so.
So if you are/have the following, then DO NOT try to add me, I am getting a bit frustrated of going through all of this:
1) An advertisement for a webcam site. If you are a user/model/worker for a webcam site, I will not accept your friend request.
2) The same exact message used to add me as another. This shows me that a profile is a clone, or is a fake.
3) Have a non-unique url, or one that follows the same structure as: "www.myspace.com/1785932959" or similar. You can just forget about trying with me if you do not have a unique url.
If you REALLY want to be my friend, you must send me a legitimate greeting message that does not follow the same structure or wording as another message. If that happens, I'll let you know. If you qualify each, or at least one of those steps, then I will accept you.
Thank you for your time. If it stays out of hand, I will have no choice but to set my profile to Private. Messages will INDEED be required to be my friend.
Garrett-Of-Cthulhu is interested in the following things, read carefully Men and Women:
=> Music (Most of music anyway. I will listen to all but modern rap and pop, or even modern country)
=> Games (What kind of a man doesn't like games?) I don't play RPG's really (Does Diablo count?), but that doesn't mean I am not a good gamer. I am not a fanboy of any of the systems or companies and thus, I am not biased (Remember me stating that I don't follow trends? Yeah...)
=> Art & Literature - Reading is a good pasttime. Writing is a great pasttime - but Drawing is a hard and difficult, but satisfying pasttime
=> Cooking - I mentioned it in my About Me section. This will be my career in life (for sure) so I am sure to be interested.
Music, my favorite! You can find nearly anything in my range of taste. I like nearly all of it, even though I can be honest and say I am not interested in Hip-Hop/Rap and Modern Pop (Though there may be some worthy candidates!), but I like to listen to everything else. I don't care if it is Classical music, tribal beats, or Retro-Techno, I still like it! If you have a good song that I should listen to, let me know of it and all I can say next is, peace!
Oh, thought I was finished? No, I am not (:D). Anyway, I can honestly tell you that I have been listening to a lot of Death Metal, Classic Rock, The Guess Who, Black Sabbath, and even some of that Classic Pop for the last couple 'o' years to boot. I hope for all open-mindedness at stake, that I acquire more tastes and I feel open to as many things as possible in the process. Remember: It is the song that counts, not the genre or artist.

Movies
I tend to like Action movies the most. Anything from Commando to Mission Impossible will cut it. Comedy is good, but not that teenage crap that is more about sexuality and crude humour, the Big Lebowski does crude and sexual humour much better and isn't a teen movie.
Horror movies are interesting as well. Although the hyper-gory films aren't necessarily great watches (fuck, all about blood and gore, little or no plot, so what's the point of watching those films?), the subtle horror films are better in my book. Hollywood horror is usually quite shitty because they're mostly about special effects and "hot actors." Teen horror isn't good either, but Scary Movie 1 was fine, though not the rest.
There is one movie that I like, that stands out from the rest and almost any other major film in history; March of the Penguins. If you haven't seen it, damn you if you don't want to. It is a moving, interesting, insightful, and for you Romance fans, lovable film about one of the most endangered species on Earth.

Reading is one of my hobbies. This does not make me a nerd or a "smart-guy," I just so happen to take books quite well than the average person I assume. If you like to read, kudos to that, but anyway, this is about me.
I guess I could read anything. It just depends on how well a story gets its point across. Whoever the writer is usually doesn't mean shit, but I do like Stephen King, H.P Lovecraft, and some other respectable authors (Tom Clancy, Anne Rice, and Dean Koontz to name a few). I like Horror quite a lot. Suspense is good, because I like the tension that some authors actually create. Fantasy is interesting, at times, but I am not really into the hardcore fantasy novels (the ones about such places as Azeroth, Middle-Earth, etc.). Crime ain't so bad, but Science Fiction is much better.
There are essays that can be quite interesting. From time to time, I read passages out of newspapers or news websites. I don't mind the editorial section of a newsprint; it is nice to appreciate the opinion of others sometimes. Wikipedia is a good past-time as well, but I think I can spot errors myself. To wrap this up, reading is a good thing to do. You learn more by doing so, and you DO delve into new worlds, new visions, and new realities. Those of you who do not like reading, you probably are just illiterate; what the hell is wrong with you :P
---I Like to Read---
Modern Horror Authors:
H.P Lovecraft
Stephen King
Dean Koontz
Anne Rice
Science Fiction
Poetry

Heroes
I have no inspirational hero, and I don't think anyone needs one in this world. Despite my lack of a role-model, however, there are many people that I give credit to and much respect:
My loving family, Adam N., Sylvie G., Tyler B., Miguel Borges, Dana Monteith, Shane G., Mr. Arsenault, Chrissi H., Stephen King, H.P Lovecraft, David Suzuki, Gandhi, Ingrid Newkirk, Richard Dawkins, Charles Darwin, Jim Keith, Leonardo Da Vinci, and those that I did not mention here. You rule.
This guy is simply awesome, he defines it perfectly:
Garrett-Of-Cthulhu Disgracefully supports the following:
NotYet is a collective message board that has insightful discussions on any subject you can imagine. I politely ask of you to join the forum and participate in the discussions, and we will all embrace you (not sexually of course) and welcome you with glee. If you become a dedicated member who is active and remains so for its duration, you will most likely earn privileges, even a staff rank. It's just that possible.
You may think that this is an advertisement, and it kind of is, but that is because I am merely sharing it with you. Check out the forum if you wish, since I am only politely asking you to join by sharing this advertisement. No one is forcing you to join. Also, to assure you that I am not merely spamming (if this were spam, it would be in your inbox right now, but I won't go that far to share the forum :P), I am a very active member there that contributes to it quite a lot.
=>I use Facebook more than Myspace these days. It seems like Myspace has gone down the shitter in the last few years, after Rupert Murdoch bought the thing and made it into an advertising platform almost completely.
Plus most of my friends are on Facebook anyway. Though I'm not completely closed to Myspace, I think it's gotten a bit boring lately. If you want to add me there, you can ask in a message.
=>Hi I'm Garrett Will, I'm from Prince Rupert, B.C. The aforementioned place is a beautiful one, it is a unique location that is currently one of the top of its kind in the world.
Hi, everyone. I am back in Moncton, N.B. It is such a relief to be away from Woodstock, where there is nothing for me. I have been back, living on my own, for two weeks as of this writing. I'm a guy who is looking for work, is bored because of general lack of socialization and other things, and is still, to this day, unsure of what to do with his life.
Well geez, since when did I start typing in the third person? Anyway, it's good to be back and definitely to be out of that place. I hope to never have to go back, but it could happen if I don't do well this first month.
=> I am currently writing a story about the Wendigo monster. Should be good.
=> I am 20 years of age, so if I happen to be with you and you like your beer, or if you want a scratch & win, I WOULD be able to get you a beer/scratch & win...but I most likely will not. I don't drink beer. :P
=> Why do people remove you from their friends lists? I think it's dumb.
=> I like bodybuilding (Will do that soon)
=> I am a proud strict vegetarian, and Dairy products suck. I am healthier than ever in my life, I can feel it. I was gaining some weight, and I have lost much of that. Soy milk owns Dairy... and your soul. Tofu is a "blessing" (not to be confused with the religious terminology), and is THE BEST food product ever created by man.
=> I like a lot of music, so much good stuff. You'd have to ask me what I like or look at my collection to see how much variety I've got.
=> I cook, draw, play games, and I want to be a musician or environmental activist. You know, I want to be a lot of things. I guess my goals are either flexible, or I just forget about such goals or find interest in something else.
=> "Racists are niggers themselves"
=> Every so often, I indulge in something I call my "Random Poetic Spurts", and it is pretty self-explanatory. Step one, a poetic line or even a whole poem pops into my head. Step two, I write it down or share it on the computer with a friend, hardly ever right here on Myspace. Step three, I keep it in memory to the best of my ability. Step four, awesome.
=> H.P Lovecraft and Stephen King are among my favorite writers. I can note a lot of other writers, including Jim Keith, Tom Clancy, Richard Adams (Watership Down is AWESOME!)who are all very notable authors. As well as many different non-fiction writers, who have very intriguing, educational works.
=> I'm a "The Stand" fan, big time.
=> Yes, I am Bi. I know that many other dudes can't accept that in this society, but whomever happens to be one of those judgmental pricks, you can't change my orientation, only I can. This might be why I don't agree with religious folks very often because many of them take some of their decrees too seriously (homophobia is one). I am Bi, deal with it if you don't like it, 'cuz there's nothing wrong with it.
I am proud to be Bisexual. It is no different from being Straight or Gay, I just lean both ways. There is no "share" of attraction towards either sex, it is complete, towards whichever way I may lean.
=> I am a writer. I am writing a story called "Rupture of Peace" (The Cancerous Earth takes place afterwards and I already have the basis for it, so I think I'll go chronologically), which I think will be a work of art. Oh, I got a few more ideas. One of those is "Plague of the Wendigo", which should be good. Might be a couple hundred pages long, at most. I haven't planned it out much.
=> I really want to play the drums. If you have drums or know where I could play the drums, give me a shout! (Locals only)
=> Hi5 (Myspace Clone) sucks
=> I'm non-religious and a staunch Atheist. I respect your views, but please, keep them to yourself (and I'll keep mine to myself).
=> If you have Microsoft Sharing Network Messenger (Is that what it stands for?) then you can add me with: Bluesun-se@hotmail.com. I use Windows Live Messenger, do you?
=> You'll like my cooking, as I am a good cook (and that's not overstating it). Because of my new diet, I wouldn't count on making meat products for you should you want to try my wonderful meals. Tofu, Soy, Rice, or any other alternative food makes meat look like a fattening tub of crap.
=> I finished school AHEAD of time. I guess I have one thing to thank for by coming to this dump.
=> I like meeting local people. If you're a local, you're really cool in my book :) Though, there's shit 'n' piss over here. Not to mention, this region is referred to as the "bible belt" of New Brunswick...ugh
I want to meet nearly anybody. Interesting or not, you're welcome to know me. Since I don't follow trends, and am not critical of your religion or ethnicity, don't worry about those things. I strive to be a non-racist, non-religious, and non-judgmental person.
You should be respectful, polite, and many of the things I am myself. It would be thankful if you're non-judgmental, since no one really deserves that stuff. If you have a good taste in music, movies, etc. then you're a cool person, because you know what you watch and listen to in terms of quality.
I'd really like to get to know activists and those who strive to make the world a better place. If you have good cooking skills, you're a star in my book. Celebrities are always allowed, especially musicians and comedians. Actors are welcome, but not if you're poor in the talent department.
Locals are always welcome to be my friends on here. It would be cool to get to know all of them.
If a girl wants to meet me, I hope she's not judgmental, not shallow, and is respectful to me. I am a strong person who won't be used for the bad things, and you won't get the good treatment if you do so. I treat ladies with respect and politeness to the best of my ability, and I do not EVER intend to cheat on them either.
I'm Bi so I am open to the opposite sex as well. Other Bisexual's need not fret, they are as welcome as the rest. The more Bisexuals that I know, the more fun!
Animals
I like all animals, and the ones i'm interested in are Sharks, Birds of Prey, and lagomorphs. But I like all animals.
I've heard of them but haven't actually given them a listen...yet lol
My windows live messenger is glamorous.suicide@hotmail.com I probley won't be on much cause I'm not really suppose to be on the computer -even though I am right now =P
I'm Not Sure If I'm A Nice Girl, People Tend To Say I'm Mean, But I Think That's Cause I'm Always Joking && Being Sarcastic N Nobody Really Understands My Sense Of Humor =P
But I'm Definitely Affectionate (Or How Ever You Spell That!) Everybody Knows That.
Yeah, This Is A Kinda Strange Convo To Be Having LoL
