On the road since January, 1988, this is a band which dwells in energy. Strong and deep Metal blowing through the speakers. Heavy, intense, and packed full of riffing and fast drumming. Thrash Metal, classic and original.
Abhorrent has released three albums and appeared in several Metal compilations and tributes to Sepultura, Anthrax and Megadeth.
The band just released a new EP entitled "Catharsys" with seven songs. These songs were originally recorded in 2003 and were intended for another album. However, due to unforseen problems, the album was not released. So here are most of them, finally on an album. Only two of these songs have been previously released, "Never" and "The End" which appeared on the compilation "Metal do Cerrado" in 2005.
We are already composing and prearing the next album, as of yet untitled. It is tentatively due to next fall/winter.

E aê rapazeada do Abhorrent! Quero parabenizá-los aí pelo show no blues pub no dia 28, com o more tools, O som estava bom e banda afinada como sempre. E agradecendo também ao Robson e ao Marreco pela lembrança e pelos elogios para o tributo ao metallica que o Fierce Fire vem fazendo em Brasília. Em falar nisso, o Robson e o Gabriel estavam no nosso último show no blackout, dia 29, sábado passado, o que acharam? Um abraço galera e continuem o bom metal!!!
