The ARCHTYPE is a melodic metal band formed in early
2000 by the brothers Fernando Donasi (guitar/vocals)
and Henrique Xixo (keyboard). After some changes,
Leandro Cassa (vocals) and Bruno Kitazato (bass/vocals)
joined the band. The first record of ARCHTYPE was the
EP "The One" (2005), with the participation of Bruno
Saraiva (drums). In 2007 the band recorded their first
cd, titled "The One", this time with Fernando Dainese
(drums). The album "THE ONE" is now available for
download, following the current tendency of virtual
releases. The songs brings aggressive, gentle,
intense, exciting ... finally, diverse moments, showing great versatility of the band. Currently the band is concentrated in the composition of new songs to start recording the second CD, and have a new drummer: Vitor Rossellini.

O ARCHTYPE é uma banda de metal melódico formada no início do ano 2000 pelos irmãos Fernando
Donasi (guitarra/vocal) e Henrique Xixo (teclado). Após algumas mudanças, Leandro Cassa
(vocal) e Bruno Kitazato (baixo/vocal) ingressaram na banda. O primeiro registro do ARCHTYPE
foi o EP "The One" (2005), que contou com a participação de Bruno Saraiva (bateria). Em 2007
a banda gravou seu primeiro cd, entitulado "THE ONE", desta vez com Fernando Dainese
(bateria). O album "THE ONE" já está disponível para download, seguindo a atual tendência de
lançamentos virtuais. As músicas trazem momentos agressivos, suaves, intensos,
emocionantes... enfim, diversificados, mostrando grande versatilidade da banda. No momento a banda esta concentrada na composição de musicas novas para iniciar as gravações do segundo CD, e tem um novo baterista: Vitor Rossellini.
