WHAT WE'RE ABOUT:
What is The Metal Congregation, you may ask yourself. This first section will explain.. most of it.
We were initially set up in the summer of 2007, starting off on a promotional basis - then in Nov/December of 2007 we decided to set up a 'Metal Community' designed to bring together the world of metalheads. We used to post news via bullitens, and blogs for a short period from bands around the world including SLIPKNOT, MACHINE HEAD, METALLICA, and other big names in the world of metal. But that all got a bit tedious so we changed ALOT over the new year. During this transition we lost all 'happiness' in maintaining TMC, and abandoned it. But now, we've decided a rebirth is needed - now that we have alot more time to focus of making this work.

It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we did.
We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.

Nice site here and glad to see you're picking it up again. We arent 'exactly' metal but we do get pretty heavy from time to time (we like Dynamics from nice(ish) Elctro to full on drop tuning 'ROCK'- check out 'Let Go' on our player)
