RIFF RAFF is DC's only fall-down, balls-out, booze-soaked queerpunk dance night. We started by getting totally tequila drunk every Sunday night at The Green Lantern, and eventually moved shit to the now-defunct Cosmo Lounge in DC's cocaine haven, Adams Morgan. After abruptly walking on the whole Chief Ike's scene, Joshua took shit to Asylum... and an era was born. Hey Sailor!, Vinnie Von Blotto, Ikon-x7, Jennder, Patrick, and a whole slew of guests came through and made shit epic.
Shit has finally come full circle... and RIFF RAFF now calls The Black Cat home. We're back to our roots, spinning punk, rock & roll, hair metal, riot grrl, queerpunk, rock-a-billy, glam, electropunk, and whatever the fuck else we can make fit.
