Metal from Finland (www.metalfromfinland.com) by Tero Tolkki is the Encyclopedia for Finnish Rock and Metalmusic. Currently the website contains information for over 600 bands. With bands we include their biography, releases, links, news, interviews, videos, samples etc.

The focus of MFF is to put finnish rock and metal under one roof through which people around the world are able to get information about the musicscene of this wonderful country.

FEATURES IN METAL FROM FINLAND
BANDS
We currently have over 600 finnish Metal- and Rockbands listed in Metal From Finland. Surely there are many more out there and we are adding them all the time. However we don't add every band we come across. Our main focus is on signed bands and in bands that have released albums. But if we come across to an unsigned band we like, of course that band will be added as well. Quality is more important to us than quantity and therefore all the bands listed in Metal From Finland have enough information about them so we can make a decent file out of them.

MUSICIANS DATABASE
Almost 1700 finnish musicians can be found in Musicians Database. Know when your favourite musician is celebrating his / her birthday. Find out in which bands your favourite musician has played in the past and what is his / her current status.

GENRES
Bands (at least most of them) are in put in genres and on this page you can view which band belongs to which genre. But not just that, besides the list of bands you can also view videos and listen to samples from bands in the chosen genre. There is also a TOP-6 bands shown on each genre.

TOURDATES
Check out which finnish bands are coming your way! In our tourcalendar you can either view all the tourdates for every band or you can choose a specific country and see the dates for every band playing in that country! There are tons of tourdates found in Metal From Finland tourcalendar!
