THERE IS A NEW MOVEMENT COMING TO THE WORLD OF MUSIC...
Some hip-hop heads may remember the days when the entire industry stormed on Philadelphia to pick up the elite from the new music movement such as Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Beanie Sigel, Eve, Major Figgaz, No Question, Most Wanted, etc... Since then, the city has been dormant. Mostly occupied by copy-cats of the old hard core rap and neo-soul genres.
Well recently there has been a new movement in the Philadelphia area. One that mixes Hip-Hop with a New Age/World Music sound. Some call it New Age Rap, Hip-Hop, or Urban Alternative. The name of the group is "Metal Hill". In tribute to music itself, Metal Hill travels and performs with a live band while pumping out sounds like you’ve never heard before. The Hip-Hop Genre is being pioneered yet again and this time it is being pushed to the limit.
Metal Hill consists of Front Runners "Chose" (Artist/Songwriter/Producer) and "Diamin" (Artist/Producer/Musician) along with the Metal Hill Band. According to the two leaders, “Metal Hill isn’t just a group; it is a lifestyle and a New Movement. You never know what area of music or entertainment we will show up working in or what tricks we will be pulling out of our hats.”
This group has received rave reviews at every venue they have performed at. Their talents exceed that of the norm, with credits in everything from Songwriting, Producing, Motion Picture Scores and Soundtracks, Etc. Their efforts have since caught the attention of industry insiders across the country who utilize a wide variety of Metal Hill's other talents.
Metal Hill is set to be a change in the steadily declining direction of music as we know it according to industry and indie insiders. Join the movement now.
