Alot has changed in the band in the last few months. David Kerber has moved from bass, to the lead singing position. The opinions from the members of the band were unanumis. Seems a little sudden, but it has been in the works for a while. If you thought Metal Illusion was bad ass before, now their gonna blow your fucking mind!
Metal Illusion is a Five-piece Metal Band from Moreno Valley California who are serious about their music. They have been together since 1996, and are making a great impression on all that hear and see them perform.
Playing heavy metal and pushing individuality, Metal Illusion has drawn the attention of magazines, Newspapers, T V Shows and Club Promoters. Metal flows through these guys' veins, they're kicking ass and taking names. Being serious about their music they are making a great impression on all who hear and see them perform. With their songs of power-blast-beat laden classic metal mixed up with cutting edge metal that makes any fan of the genre hungry for more. With David Kerber ripping up the Mic with his diverse and wide range along with his wicked lyrics, background vocalist/rhythm guitarist Ron Estrada Jr. is a natural born performer with shredding rhythms , The drummer Jason Hamblin awesome footwork on a double bass drum set elevates them beyond just a knock-off band. On lead guitar Matt Wellenreuther shredding on the guitar solos. This is power metal and its for real. Daring to go against the tides of popular music and even against the tides of modern metal, Metal Illusion encourages individuality in music and the truth of playing what is in your heart. You'd be hard pressed to find anything much better than this outside of Germany and the 1980s.

I was just clicking through myspaces since im bored as hell and stumbled across this one, And i just figured id tell you guys i was actually really fucking surprised, i figured "just another band on myspace" and i was just reading all the shit on the page, and suddenly the guitarist just starts playing a fucking badass solo in the beginning of the song and i just stopped and listened to both songs, so i just figured id go ahead and tell you im fucking impressed, honestly, thanks for keeping real metal alive, i seriously wish good luck to you guys, keep thrashing!
