Here's my thing:
I'm an Internet Disc Jockey (click to go to my personal DJ site) for a hard rock station. I love to receive CD's/mp3s of new artists that play in that 80's hair band, hard rock, cock rock, hair rock, art rock, symphony rock, progressive rock, glam rock, shock rock, acid rock, heavy metal, or 70's hard rock'n'roll genre. I check out all music by bands that befriend me. I usually listen to the most played song, unless you tell me otherwise. If your music fits and shows superb musicianship and good stage show, you'll probably get in regular rotation. Band of the Month and Women of Rock Block are my shows, so if you are really good, we can book you for that. I don't have an interest in becoming a DJ persay (unless it pays ;-), all I desire is to keep hard rock alive for future generations by helping new hard rock bands and old hard rock bands with new work, get their message out. It's all free. I'll network with you as best I can. All I ask in return is some comps: free tix to show, signed merch (used for contests for further exposure), interviews, free tab at your show, whatever you can swing my way! This is my oldest footage of the band. The band is playing on a flatbed trailer at a drive-in theater. The gig started late and there was not enough lighting. The band was also plagued by sound problems! Anyway I was still able to salvage this Cool Guitar Solo by Chris Risola. Enjoy!
