About me: "Metalkas" es un tiempo de radio con banda sonora de Rock contemporáneo y mucho Metal, confusión cinematográfica (desde cortes de audio utilizados a modo de puentes) y un discurso argumental imprescindible (y absolutamente irrenunciable para quien lo realiza) cargado de guiños a la realidad socio-cultural de mucho ciudadano pero que no cuenta para los grandes medios de comunicación. "Metalkas" mantiene una postura en favor de una comunicación pura con los oyentes.
Antaño yo creía en el movimiento de la radio alternativa o comunitaria o cultural. Pensaba que se podían lograr cosas importantes dando voz a los sin voz. Ahora pienso que no es fácil saber quiénes son los que no tienen voz. Y opino que la pequeñez y endogamia de esa entelequia de la comunicación hace que sus resultados sean pequeños, casi despreciables. Sigo aferrado al gran motor que me ha impulsado siempre, en cualquier lugar donde he emitido, a tratar de dejar de ser receptor pasivo para convertirme, con ciertas dosis de atrevimiento, mucho curro, y gran respeto a otras opciones radiofónicas, en emisor activo que busca compartir emociones y reflexiones además de humildemente tratar de dar una respuesta diferente a tanto planteamiento repetitivo en la radio rock & metal de este país.
El 12 de septiembre 2009 "Metalkas" emitió el primer programa de la nueva temporada; décima consecutiva de este espacio en Radio Utopía tras diez meses de silencio radiofónico y de profunda decepción asociativa y personal después de tener que cerrar (en noviembre 1999) el capítulo de 12 años de emisiones ininterrumpidas (desde 1987) de "Metalkas" en Radio Vallekas (tras corromperse totalmente el modelo e ideario autogestionado de esa emisora madrileña). "Metalkas" emite todos los sábados del mundo en directo en Radio Utopía (102.4 FM) entre 18.00 y 20.00 horas (GMT + 1). Nuestras emisiones se escuchan en la zona norte de Madrid (capital) y sierra norte de la Comunidad de Madrid. La redifusión del programa (repetición) se emite los jueves entre 12.00 y 14.00 horas (GMT + 1). Toda la programación de Radio Utopía 102.4 FM también se puede sintonizar en Internet en www.radioutopia.es. Además, en una constante necesidad de encontrarme con nuevas sensibilidades y oyentes, nuevos amigos y compañeros de viaje, desde septiembre 2008 "Metalkas" no solo se emite a través de los canales habituales de Radio Utopía sino que además el programa forma parte de la rejilla de programación de "TNT Radio Rock" (http://www.tntradiorock.com). "Metalkas" se emite en directo en "TNT Radio Rock" los jueves entre 20.00 y 22.00 horas y la redifusión (repetición) del programa saldrá al aire los viernes entre las 06.00 y 08.00 horas (apelando a las horas de madrugada en España para conectar con nuestros oyentes de Latinoamérica y Norteamérica).

"Metalkas" is a radio program with contemporary Rock (and very much) Metal soundtrack, cinematographic confusion (from audio cuts used like bridges) and a plot indispensable speech (and absolutely that cannot be waived for the one who realizes it) loaded with winks to the sociocultural reality much but that doesnt important for the big mass media. "Metalkas" supports a position of a pure communication with the listeners.
Long time ago I believed in the movement of the alternative or community or cultural radio. I was thinking that important things could be achieved giving voice to them without voice. Now I think that it is not easy to know who are those who dont have voice. I remain grasped to the great engine that has stimulated me always, in any place where I emitted, to trying to stop being a passive recipient job to turn, with certain doses of presumption, a lot of work, and great respect to other radio programss options, into active issuer who seeks to share emotions and reflections humbly to there try to give a response different answer toso much repetitive exposition in the radio rock and metal of this country.
On 12 September 2009 "Metalkas" I did first show of the new season; ten consecutive of this space in Radio Utopia after ten months of wireless silence and of deep associative and personal disappointment after having to close (in November 1999) the chapter of 12 years of uninterrupted emission from 1987 of "Metalkas" in Radio Vallekas (after broke it totally the model and ideology automanaged of this radio station of south Madrid).
"Metalkas" is on air every Saturday of the world in Radio Utopia (102.4 FM) among 18.00 and 20.00 hours (GMT + 1).
Our programs are listened in the north zone of (cardinal) Madrid and north saw of the Community of Madrid. The rediffusion of the program (repetition) is emitted every Thursday among 12.00 and 14.00 hours (GMT + 1). The whole programming of Radio Utopia 102.4 FM also can be tuned in Internet at http://www.radioutopia.es. In a constant need to meet new sensibilities and listeners, new friends and companions of trip, until September 2008 "Metalkas" will be emitted across the habitual channels of Radio Utopía but also the program form part of grid programming of "TNT Radio Rock" (http://www.tntradiorock.com). "Metalkas" is alive on "Radio TNT Rock" on Thursday between 20.00 and 22.00 hours and repetition of the program is on air on Fridays between 06.00 and 08.00 hours (appealing to the early morning hours in Spain to connect with our listeners in Latin America and North America).
