I also have a web page at www.geocities.com/metallikate. Look there for gig dates and other information for local bands and a section dedicated to Metal Furies. Yeah, I dig muscle cars too.
Music
Heavy Metal, Punk, and Hard Rock; Bands like Von Kull, Misanthropy, Grim Aria, 3.5 White, Glamicidal, Aborted Existence, EPH Tradition, Clobbersaurus, Thunderbrew
Movies
Sin City, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Batman Begins, 2001, Rock 'n Roll Nightmare, Trick or Treat, Subspecies, classic Westerns, comedies, Kung-Fu films, Chinese historical dramas, German expressionist films, James Bond films, Charles Bronson films, darker films starring Johnny Depp or Keanu Reeves, Christopher Walken films, a little Tarrantino here and there, and my favorite tear-jerker of all time- The Poseiden Adventure (stay up late enough to get past the 'giddy' stage of sleep deprivation and watch it on a rainy night)
Television
Jem, A-Team, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Remmington Steele, MacGyver (before his cop love interest came into the picture) and countless other television shows from the 80s that probably made my brain go squishy; Kung-Fu Theater; The Simpsons; I usually am fond of any BBC stuff- like Dr. Who, The Avengers (pre-Tara King), Monty Python, Blake's 7, Red Dwarf, and dramatizations of novels filmed for the Mystery program on PBS ('Mother Love' starring Diana Rigg was awesome!); I have a weakness for 'cheesy' superhero television shows like Wonder Woman, Xena, and Batman; I admit to catching the occasional (as in maybe once every few months) episode of the soap opera 'Passions'- it's so wacky that I have trouble believing that it hasn't been canned yet; I try to catch American Football when it's on; I don't watch too much on the tube these days- too much to do!
Books
Sound of the Beast: The Complete Headbanging History of Heavy Metal by Ian Christe; Rodale's Organic Gardening Encyclopedia; The Farmer's Almanac; more Metal magazines than I can keep track of; Gothic Beauty Magazine; Fine Gardening Magazine (it's totally worth the extra newstand price); Discover Magazine; Scientific American Magazine; InStyle Magazine (because as a life-long tomboy I need all the help that I can get trying not to look frumpier than some of the old ladies I work with- most of the stuff they have articles on don't apply to me, but it's cheap enough for an 'idea' book); PC World Magazine
Heroes
Angela Gossow, Siouxsie, Traci N., Timmy!, my family
About me: I have been involved in the Delaware Metal community for about 20 years. For many of these years I have hosted what is probably the oldest radio program dedicated to heavy metal and hard rock in the state. I owe much of my broadcasting knowledge to Traci Neaves, Keith Mills and Ron 'Roadblock' Smith, and much of my renewed interest in Motown and early pop music to Jerry Grant and Rick Lewis. I was once a scab bass player for The Hated (Delaware), and I did a brief stint as a bass player in a death metal band from Maryland. Some other stuff I've done- freelance journalist, roadie, amateur photographer, amateur videographer and amateur audio recordist (not by any means a bootlegger, but also not having the experiences to call myself an amateur 'recording engineer').
I am always looking for metal submissions for my show (international submissions are also welcome). If you want to send something my way, here's the address:
P. O. Box 143

It's one of my personal quests to increase the general Metal public's awareness of female artists, and, another, to help sustain the local Metal community by being a consistent provider of broadcasting opportunities for local Metal artists.
I used to speak German fluently and I know a little Spanish.
Landless Theater
Who I'd like to meet: fellow Metal enthusiasts, Gossow, Shagrath, Mortiis, Mille
