I Metalmeccanica, come progetto musicale di un gruppo di ragazzi riuniti intorno all’ interesse per la comicità demenziale e la musica metal, nascono già a partire dal 2000. Nei primi anni compongono principalmente ballate rock e sviluppano progetti paralleli quali cortometraggi, fumetti, racconti brevi e perfino ricette e un fotoromanzo ! Questo lavoro poliedrico viene poi organizzato nel nostro sito internet www.metalmeccanica.net dove è tutt’ ora disponibile a tutti . Viene realizzato un demo autoprodotto che si chiamerà “Metallo Alcolico”.
Dall’ autunno del 2004 si riorganizzano come classica formazione rock, con batterista, chitarrista, bassista, cantante e un corista e frequentano settimanalmente le sale prove di Prato, dove cominciano a formare un nuovo album. Nell’ agosto 2005 debuttano al Music Odyssey, festival per gruppi emergenti. Nel Marzo 2006 registrano presso i Paraphernalia Studios di Prato e nell’ Ottobre 2006 registrano presso gli FDS Studios di Roma. Svolgono tutt'ora un' intensa attività LIVE, sempre molto apprezzata dal pubblico.
La formazione ha subito numerose modifiche. Alcolo rimane fin dagli inizi, come chitarrista prima e come bassista poi. Suoi i testi delle canzoni. Dal 2007 la line-up vede J.B. (voce maschile), Daverock (chitarra elettrica), Simba (batteria) e Erbetta (voce femminile). Demone, anche se ha lasciato per sviluppare altri progetti, rimane il fondatore e ispiratore del gruppo con cui ha cantato nel primo demo.
La loro scaletta prevede tutti pezzi originali, composti, arrangiati e scritti autonomamente, con vastissime influenze dal panorama Grunge ad elementi Metal, Hard Rock, Punk .

I Dragonia presenteranno il loro nuovo cd, Blood, Will and Soul, in concomitanza del loro concerto al festival 300% Hell Fest Domenica 13 settembre allo Stony Pub a Pontassieve.
Per l'occasione ci presenteremo sia con la versione "free" del disco, in distribuzione gratuita, che "deluxe" a pagamento.
