We've been dedicated fans for over 20 years now and decided it's time to repay to the scene that enriched our lives with such a great amount of unforgettable moments with the best music ever. The idea to start a record label was born in late 2007 and brought to life in 2008.
Since we've become metalheads in the '80s, our hearts belong mostly to that period - and we think it was absolutely THE greatest time for metal. However there are still plenty of talented bands that didn't forget what metal is all about. Trends came and went and unfortunately dominated and weakened the scene, so the REAL metal had to go underground. This label is for those who keep the old spirit alive, fans and musicians who play their music with heart and with balls, no matter if it's thrash, heavy, doom, speed, US power.

IMPORTANT! To the BANDS that ask us if we could release their album this year:
OUR RELEASE PLAN FOR 2009 IS ALREADY CLOSED (yes, we work with schedules), so the answer is "no". If you are interested in a release in 2010 or later, there's a chance, but we're really picky bastards, so we must totally love your music to be interested in signing you (we like hundreds of bands, but that's not enough).
PLEASE READ BEFORE ASKING US FOR THE ADD:
IF you play nu "metal", hardcore, mallcore (or any "core" for that matter), grind, goth, glam, industrial, alternative, ambient, drone, sludge, grunge, funk, screamo, emo or other styles that MTV and mainstream media try to sell as metal, but either have nothing or almost nothing to do with real metal, don't ask us for adding. This is a METAL label, as the name indicates... and we are not "friend" collectors (as a matter of fact, we deny many more requests than we approve). Some old-school death and black metal bands may pass through the judgement (though we are not interested in these genres as a label), but hey, my nickname is well earned, so if you're not added, your music is simply not compatible with my/our tastes (like happy "euro" power metal where keyboards are more important than guitars... no, thanks!).
Some bands seem to be unable to read or to comprehend this and keep on resending requests without even bothering to write a message. The first time I always check the music, then it's one click on "Deny", however from now on it will be also "Block User" if a band resends the request for the third time. Don't waste my time and you will not waste yours. Also: if you don't have any of your original music on your profile, don't bother sending us a request, no matter what you write about it, as we will not add your band/project - we need to hear it to decide. You can send us a request after you upload some songs there. Thanks for understanding.

The second MOMR compilation is released as a regular CD with 8 pages booklet and features 12 bands. This disc is packed with pure metal to the maximum: 17 tracks, almost 74 minutes of music ranging from classic heavy metal through US power and thrash to traditional doom. Half of the songs come from the last albums of our bands (CATCH 22, NOMAD SON, FALLEN ANGELS, METAL LAW, RACHEL'S COVEN and BRUTAL HAND), but there are a few previously unreleased ones (BATTLERAGE, HEATHENDOM and SKELATOR), as well as different versions of the songs from the upcoming albums (F.K Ü., MIDNIGHT IDÖLS and SESTA MARCONI). Yes it was a tragic loss, I just Hope Space Eater keeps the spirit of Bosko Alive, by keeping the band going. LC is a great graphics designer..........I am writing reviews for the Metal MAGdalene webzine, and FKU is the next on my list to do. If you have bands on your label that i can review, i would love to give them a listen, and airplay. I have played 4 bands from Metal on Metal Records.
