Having come to the USA from Turkey about 11 years ago and battled languages and speech impediments, I feel as though I've come a long way so far. I love it back home and I used to think that there was nothing good for me around here, but things have definitely turned around for the better. I've had a hell of a time here. I have also found my career path, and I believe that I will be able to truly make something of my life here.
I have problems facing fears. Loud noises, disturbing images, scary movies, disturbing stories, dark rooms, strange sounds, shocks/surprises, wounds, and blood scare me most. I faint, though not as often as I used to (actually, it's become a rare occurrence now). I also get very light headed and dizzy depending on the actions that trigger it.
My talents in art and music are one of my greatest attributes. Cartoony, wacky little drawings are what I enjoy to produce the most. I also play the guitar, and although I don't like bragging very much, I think of myself as pretty good at it.
I'm a very shy person, and I don't really like talking to people. Though I prevent people from getting close to me, I still am open to anyone willing to be my friend, under the condition that they treat me just as well as I treat them.
My interests come in varieties. I love the Metal genre of music, and some of my favorite sub-genres are Melodic Death Metal (through much influence), 80's Hair Metal, and Thrash Metal. I also have an interest in art. I tend to stare at a piece to observe the procedures that must have gone into it. I love every oppurtunity to get out of the house. I never really want to stay home. I'm also very interested in languages. Because I learned English as a second language, I've been pushing other languages upon myself to further my multilingualism.
My dislikes are on a longer list. I guess one can easily guess it right: I don't like eating. I can never really bring myself to do it, let alone in large amounts. I'm underweight, which can be highly unhealthy, and my stomach is very small so I tend to get full on one meal a day. Dieting can bring this about very easily if your eating habits are not kept maintained. I hate self-centered people proclaiming themselves as superior. I also hate cauliflower, the color pink, skinny guys wearing skinnier jeans, terribly located tattoos, buzz cuts, mop heads, tissue boxes, Bret Michaels, annoying dogs, seat belts, the short bus, stereotypes, too much sugar, bashing, Asians rocking back and forth, the cries of kittens, nursery rhymes, spiders, and sausage fests.
