Shabti formed in Spring of 2008 with current and former members of Kurixis, Gift of Tongues and H.O.S.T. After about a year of playing shows, original bassist Bobby McAulliffe decided to leave the band to focus on his other projects. His bass playing and production skills will appear on the upcoming debut cd. Bassist Kyle Scofield (ex Gift of Tongues, + more) joined in April of 2009 as the band prepared for a summer of live conquest.
I'm playing in a nu metal band. We sound like Godsmack meets korn but with a dash of Bush. Obviously I'm kidding. No, I'm playing in a heavier thing right now called Aok Suicide Forest, and a flamenco-hybrid thing as well. AokSF will be ready to play this fall, Oct. 29th Genos.
