Its rare that I ever visit this any more it was meant as a private means for me to get out some of my thoughts where only I could see, but had to get out. I have been recovering from back surgery, a laminectory proceedure that was far less invasive then I first thought it would be. Its not the 1st time I have had to recover from a surgery so I know what to exspect now and am able to take it more in stride and not try to push the Drs to allow me to do more before I am ready. I still try to be a bit ahead of the ballgame and do push myself within the limits of what they allow, but I try to be intelligent about it in what I do to get my strength back up. On the outside I can drive, walk, and enjoy, I just have to watch how much I lift. It takes time for everything inside to heal, but you can still work out with small weights to build back up muscle and stamina. I want to get back out and play music, but I know I am not ready and its months away. I am fine with it because I know its better to be close to 100% then embaress yourself at 45% just because you had to play!
Mr Johnson Likes to take credit for things he had nothing to do with and this is no exception..his contribution to this film was the audio tracks and thats all..he had nothing to do with the original films and was not involved with the post production..I have the digital re masters of this film and it runs about 40m.and the bottom is not cut off...I also have all of the other films shot between 1977-1980...Ted Nugent/Angel/Cheap Trick/Foreigner/Blue Oyster/Pat Travers/David Bowie/The Tubes/Nazareth and many others..
I would love to see this whole concert, warts and all with the tunning in between. I saw then July 77 in Soldiers Field for the ball park of rock. Ronney was on crutches from a softball bame they had had. It was also 38 specials debute no one had ever heard of them at the time. Jouney the only tour with a singer before Steve Perry joined, REO, and Ted Nugent in the infamase milk jug concert. I was going to hot that day and there were no conseesion stands and no coolers allowed and they had it all over the news to take milk jugs of water. Nugent came on at near twilight and when the sun started going down during stranglehold, fron the very back people started throwing the jugs in the air. It slwoly started moving forward when everyone saw what was going on and it was a sew of jugs going in the air and sparing everyone until the started going on stage. Nugent said try to hit me and the stage became flooded woth nugent juming and kicking a few.
