Started in 2002, at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the band ''Still Alive'' had its first performance in 2006 (still with the old name "Ruthless Cry") with the launching of the EP "Into the Snakepit", produced by Flavio Pascarillo (Tribuzy, Nordheim).
With this release the band took part in shows and events in Rio de Janeiro, getting known and gathering a great amount of fans all over the country. The EP also had good repercussion in the specialized media, being published by and receiving releases from magazines like Roadie Crew(Sept 2007), websites as Whiplash, besides appearing in the international media as the Chilean website ''Programa Mundo Rock''.
According to the metal media, the band, considered by many as a great surprise of Rio's underground scene for boasting such young members doing such high quality work. Still Alive proposes a Heavy Metal style with varied influences.
Recorded in 2009, the new and powerful song ''Human'', presenting the band with its new members, really shows what the band is capable of and that it is ready to conquer new fans and territories abroad.
