About me:
I am a metalsmith out of Los Angeles, CA. I have worked with and been trained by many people in many different industries who I owe everything to. The big names for me are Chuck Richards J.S., Scott Taylor M.S.(RIP), his wife Margret, Alex Felix J.S., and Gard Hollinger of L.A. County Choprods. I do a variety of artistic metal work and am a general metal fabricator using a number of different alloys. I consider myself a lifelong apprentice to metal, its uses, functions and how to manipulate it. I began as a welder and a mechanic at a high end German new car dealership. In my wonderings, I have been lucky enough to meet many different people who are skilled and knowleageable in their trade and willing to teach an enthusiastic kid with a little talent. I make hand forged knives, jewelery, ornamental iron, decorative and functional sheet metal, sculptures, as well as precision parts for motorcycles and hotrods. Many people have told me that I am an "artist", I like to think of myself as someone who is just doing his thing. I really don't like to consider myself as much of anything, I'm simply having fun!
