Wir sind Woodland, eine 4-köpfige Metal-Band aus Lübeck. Schon seit 2004 haben wir uns dieser Band verschrieben und so im Laufe der Zeit zwei Demos aufgenommen. Doch nun sind wir nach langer Entwicklungsphase endlich dort angekommen, wo wir immer sein wollten und haben unseren ganz eigenen Stil gefunden: Das erste Album „DREAMALITIY“ ist im Kasten und nimmt den Hörer mit auf eine musikalische Reise durch Sagen, Märchen und dramatischen Erzählungen… Doch es würde unserer Musik nicht gerecht werden sie lediglich als „Metal“ zu bezeichnen. Immer um Atmosphäre bemüht, verwenden wir Einflüsse aus verschiedensten Genres, sei dies Folk, Death und Black Metal oder auch Doom oder sogar entspannter Progressive Rock. Ein besonderes Kennzeichen bildet dabei die weibliche Gesangsstimme Koopies, die sich fernab von typischen „Female Metal Vocals“ bewegt.

We are Woodland, four Metal-musicians from Lübeck (Germany). The band was founded in 2004 and in our first years we began to record some demos. After a long time of development we finally found our own style to make music and we are proud to represent you our first album: Dreamality. By listening to the album you are taken to a long path through sagas, myths and dramatic narrations. But it's not enough to describe our music as “Metal”. We are influenced by Folk, Death and Black Metal, Doom and smooth Progressive Rock.
