I love wolves, have for a long time. I think they're utterly gorgeous creatures.
Besides that, I'm a bit of a gaming geek and have been known to waste hours playing Smackdown Vs. Raw, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, the Baldur's Gate series for the PS2, not to mention World Of WarCraft.
On Friday nights you can hear me along with the rest of The Metallic Onslaught crew from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. Highly recommended if you're into metal, random silliness, or any combination thereof...

Music
Basically, I'm an old-school metalhead, but I don't limit myself to just metal. I love all kinds of rock. The Holy Trinity of Rock for me is AC/DC, KISS, and Black Sabbath. I'm also a supporter of my local scene, and you can find some of these bands among my top friends. Highly recommended stuff!
Movies
To say I'm a horror fan would be a gross understatement. Ironically, though, my favorite film is actually a comedy: Kevin Smith's "Clerks"...
Television
I watch way too much reality TV. Damn you VH1! Beats MTV, though, what a friggin' joke...
Besides that, I quite enjoy South Park, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, not to mention pro wrestling, most notably WWE Raw and Smackdown.
Books
Primarily horror and fantasy:
Stephen King: Pretty much anything, but especially 'Salem's Lot, The Shining, The Stand, and Pet Sematary.
Laurell K. Hamilton: The Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series and the Meredith Gentry series. Absolutely amazing!
Michael Moorcock: The Elric series, simply unbelievable reading!
J.R.R. Tolkien: The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings. Hope to someday finish The Silmarillion, dammit!
David Eddings: The Belgariad and The Mallorean, must-reads if you're into truly EPIC fantasy!
Neil Gaiman: Smoke And Mirrors, American Gods, The Anansi Boys, this guy can pretty much do no wrong in my book!
Clive Barker: The Damnation Game, The Hellbound Heart, Weaveworld, hell, just read anything you can get your hands on by this guy!
Peter Straub: Best known for Ghost Story, but Shadowland is by far my favorite book by this guy. Soooo wishing they'd make a movie outta that one!
Heroes
KISS were my idols for a long time as a kid. These days I look up to anyone who will stand up for themselves and their beliefs.

About me: In a nutshell, I'm a pretty average guy with a pretty average job. I was born in Rochester, NY, but I've lived in Seneca Falls since the age of two. I've got two younger brothers, a wonderful sister-in-law, and a sister-in-law-in-waiting, so to speak...
On Friday nights I appear on a local all-metal radio show called The Metallic Onslaught as a headbanging werewolf. I'm just another crazy character on a show that's had more than their share, and the rest of the crew are flat out amazing people! It's genuinely so much fun that it probably shouldn't be legal.
Who I'd like to meet: So many people...Any original member of KISS, Alice Cooper,
Ozzy Osbourne, Luis Royo, Stephen King, Laurell K. Hamilton, Cradle of Filth, Jessica Galbreth, not to mention WWE wrestlers Edge and The Undertaker.
"I begin with an idea and then it becomes something else." ~ Pablo Picasso
I think many times we question our initial ideas, thinking they suck or won't go the distance, but my Mother told me to write everything down, both good and bad. She said I can always crumple it up and throw it out!
I believe in many areas of our lives we can psych ourselves out before we even get going...
There once was a time in the land where the sun was worshiped as god and its embrace with the moon made the earth hold its breath as time stood still in silence, and at that hour the smothered sun shall cloak the whole world in the dead blackness of midnight giving birth to the Element Of Eclipse.
"The secret of living in peace with all people lies in the art of understanding each one by his own individuality." Friedrich Ludwig Jahn
I like it because whether we are talking about our domestic situations, community, country or world; the key is acceptance of that which makes us individuals.
I find these days I am looking for what makes us different. With all the paper-doll cut-outs, it's refreshing to meet unique people.I mean, I know it's nice to find like-minded spirits, but the goal shouldn't be to try to make others like ourselves.
Peace is out there...hope you are finding it! Karen :)
