Some subtle influences from prog rock and melodic metal can likely be discerned. I don't really try to pattern my music after anyone else.
Sounds Like
My music has a bit of an 80s feel, with a healthy dose of the prog and epic rock of other eras thrown in. My voice has been compared to everyone from early Christian folk rocker Don Francisco to Pink Floyd's Syd Barrett to David Bowie and even a bit of Elvis. Sometimes there's a bit of Moody Blues flavour, too, I think.
Metanarrative is an epic rock project by Tim Gallant. Spanning a projected two CDs, Metanarrative retells the "big story" of the Bible. Look for rock music infused with classical, folk, and even Gregorian and operatic elements.
Tim is a veteran songwriter as well as biblical scholar from northern Alberta, Canada.
