Metanoia, an Australian death metal band formed in 1990 in Townsville, Australia, playing brutal diverse death/grind music, with lots of bass low guttural vocals and shrieks.
Metanoia finished in 2000 after releasing 3 cd's and some of their work added to various compilation cd's. Metanoia would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the years.

After months of Judging and deliberation and with over 4,000 votes from the general public we are pleased to announce the finalists for each category of the 2009 Australian Metal Awards.
