About Metaphysics

I Metaphysics nascono nell’Ottobre 2005 e fin da subito cominciano a comporre musica inedita. Le maggiori influenze della band si ritrovano nel progressive metal degli anni ‘90 e nel progressive rock degli anni ‘70-‘80.

Febbraio 2007 vede la realizzazione della loro prima demo autoprodotta: “Evolution”. Il brano “Evolution pt.1”, tratto dalla suddetta demo, viene inserito nella compilation (15000 copie) del n.57 (luglio/agosto) della famosa rivista italiana Rock Hard, insieme ad artisti del calibro di Turisas, At Vance, Circus Maximus, Lions Share feat. Bruce Kulick, Behemoth ed altri.

Nell’estate 2011 cominciano le registrazioni di “Beyond The Nightfall”, primo album della band, prodotto, registrato, missato e masterizzato agli S.F. Studios da Simone Fiorletta (No Gravity, Moonlight Comedy e solo artist). Special guest alle tastiere soliste Andrea De Paoli (Labyrinth).

L’album, uscito il 27 Luglio 2012, sarà distribuito dall’etichetta SG Records.
