Don was a loving person. He laughed, love and forgave. He loved his family. Don was a drug addict and fought addiction all his life. His family misses him greatly. He is in Heaven now and the battle is over. Rest in Peace Brother.

John was a great loving person. He was the person that always had friends. He took care of his mom and dad. He was called little man because he was the last boy in the family. John you are missed badly to. We love you and will see you again. Rest in Peace little Brother.
About me: This page is dedicated to my brothers Don and John Buell. John died January 5, 2006 because of methadone. Don died four months later because of methadone overdose. I am at lost for words when I look around and see the lives methadone has taken. Methadone is a opioid. Methadone is used for treatment of heroin addiction as well as other addictions. It is also used to treat severe and chronic pain. Fatal overdoses of methadone rose at a higher rate than those involving any other narcotic from 1999 through 2004. Methadone kills primarily by slowing respiration, overriding the body's instinct to breathe. Because the effects of methadone are so delayed, many people are alone once they actually start to overdose and are unable to get help. I would like to turn this tragedy into triump. Many others have lost loved ones to this drug. I would like to see the regulatios of methadone distributiuon changed. Methadone is making it into the streets and ultimately into the hands of our loved ones and children. Together we can make a difference. Speak up for those who can't.
