Since their serendipitous meating in an East St. Louis rehab center in the sweltering heat of summer '97, Al Pastor and the Lady Picadillo have kept the music cumming all night long. To the delight of their fans, friends, critics and even The Stranger in the night.
Al turned his back on longtime bandmate Randy Chickenhawk, and the seminal Art-Prog group Trophy Bucks to pursue his passion for pearl diving with the dusky and mysterious siren Lady Picadillo. The Lady Picadillo was no stranger to the rock scene either. Having Played guitar, and sung back-up vocals in the legendary East St. Louis Doom Metal band Fingertooth. After a long hard journey from shady back alley rehersals, to late night runs across the river for supplies. The hardships endured during the lean years honed their sound into the lean, mean rock smoking machine you see today. Delivering songs that cut like a knife to the heart of the city at night, and don't stop the rock until the rock stops rockin'.
