About me:

What is MetroED?
The Metropolitan Education District known as MetroED is the largest career-oriented educational organization in Santa Clara County comprised of high school and adult career-technical, academic and community programs.

MetroED annually provides more than 30,000 diverse students with the skills to help them be productive, income-earning and tax-paying contributors to Santa Clara County.

What is CCOC?
CCOC stands for the Central County Occupational Center, and is a unit of MetroED. The CCOC day program proides career technical classes for high school students (juniors & seniors) and adults who reside within the six participating school districts (see below). Enrollment priority for CCOC Day classes is given to high school students age 16 years and older. High school students should see their counselor to enroll and adults may enroll if space is available. The CCOC Evening Program offers career technical classes for adults and high school students referred by their counselors.

The six partcipating school districts are: Campbell Union High School District, East Side Union High School District, Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District, Milpitas Unified School District, San Jose Unified School District, and Santa Clara Unified School District.

What is MAEP?
MAEP provides programs such as English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult Basic Education, GED Testing Preparation, Career Technical Education, Online courses, and 50+Program classes. MAEP has three administrative centers and over 40 locations where classes are taught.

MAEP serves adults in Campbell Union High School District and San Jose Unified School District boundaries.
