Here's what folks are saying about "CORNELIUS": Cornelius harkens back to an earlier time in independent films, before modern quirk fests like Juno, Garden State and Little Miss Sunshine cluttered up art houses with bright colors, uplift and weepy college rock. It's closer to the late '80s and early '90s indie films, when independent films were entry ways into alienating, strange environments. - HARTFORD ADVOCATE Cornelius tells the story of a man returning to the world after a traumatic experience causes a nervous breakdown. As the movie progresses you the reasons of for this breakdown are slowly revealed and the destiny of the title character becomes obvious. The movie itself evokes some of the themes and feel of the works of independent filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, particularly the sense of alienation displayed by the title character.
