Metropolitan Charities is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We are currently serving all the communities in the DFW area. Our goal is to improve the standard of living for every member of our community.
With our partnering sponsors, we are able to help people find employment, award worthy students with scholarships who are lacking the funds, and provide food and clothing assistance for many families. Metropolitan Charities also provides assistance for disaster relief and holds an annual Christmas Program entitled "A Touch of Christmas" - where 500 children receive christmas gifts.
Jose Gomez is the founder of this organization. As a child growing up in Cali, Colombia his mother taught him the importance of helping those who are less fortunate. Although his family was struggling themselves, his mother never hesistated to provide food for children who were hungry, and she brought them into her home as if they were her own. This wonderful example instilled a sprit of giving within Jose's heart. His desire is not only to impact his community through charitable services but to show show Christ to each family he encounters.

I felt God telling me to contribute and I just followed his command and I am so glad that money was used to help Kalel get the medicane and I am so glad that she is doing better because of it, our God works in miracolus ways and may all glory and honor be unto his name. I have sent you a message with my email address if Kalel's mom wants to write me a email but all Glory definetly goes to God for his great timing and awesomness in providing for Kalel through me.
