Very funny condom commercial!:
Heroes
Everyone who takes care of themselves... whether its because you don't have sex, you use a condom every time you have sex, you take your meds if you supposed to... you're all heroes.
Everyone who supports family and friends who have HIV/AIDS, who doesn't make them feel like they have cooties. Those who still love them like you did before you knew they had HIV.
Everyone who knows their status. You know, took that test in the last 3 months. And a special shout out to those who brought a friend, or your partner, down to get tested too!

http://www.technologyreview.com/blog/editors/23244/ This video is quick and simple but it is important for understanding how the transfer of HIV from infected to uninfected T cells looks like. The video shows how an infected cell adheres to a healthy cell and migrates within minutes to the contact site. We think that this video is valuable because it shows how rapidly one can become infected with HIV despite all of the Myths.
Does anyone out there think that being exposed to HIV, even if only one time--can be harmful? Does this video and article make you think differently about the effects of HIV? Do you think that this video will persuade people to think about using condoms?

Providing a Voice for the Global Hip-Hop Communities (or Community?) on Health Awareness and Prevention.
Reference: Book: I Am Hip Hop, I Am Health
Healthcare can not limit its focus to merely treatment and research; we have to empower people through prevention. With all of the negative attention hip hop has received, no one has spoken about the positivity of hip hop culture. Hip hop has influenced every facet of our culture from economics and social issues to business and lifestyles. Hip Hop is relevant to our culture by providing a window into the lives of others on a global scale through music. We believe that it can have a positive influence on today’s health outlook.
We have written a book that is representative of the hip-hop generation and the adults that grew up with the influences of the early hip hop music genre. The book, I Am Hip Hop, I Am Health, was written to educate the older hip hop generations (old school and the golden age) and the new hip hop generation about the health disparities plaguing our communities in a non-partisan, cross-culturally informative and entertaining way.
Spreading this message of prevention and health awareness to the public will be the key to change. Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis, Jr. lends his perspective in a thought provoking foreword (fast forward) to the possibility and impact this book can have on our global society as well as entertaining excerpts from interviews with Russell Simmons and other notables in the hip-hop industry. I Am Hip Hop, I Am Health is a book that can serve as a medium to bridging the gap and educating our communities
