When I have more time to sit here I will write some up.
This moment the best memory that floods my heart right off... I can recall right now like it was yesterday *trying not to cry*
The look on my dads face when I just came home from Shea Stadium with the youth group with a Pennant banner in my hand screaming Let's Go Mets!! I will forever remember the joy on his face. He was right there with me!!! I know it in my heart today I can see him on the porch listening on his portable AM radio knowing his baby girl was at her first real ball game!!! My dad was so happy and proud of me for loving the game like he always had. My dad was sitting there smiling *sober* and happy because he like me *got it* the profound passion and understanding of what it means to be going to the World Series... to work hard and try to win... Not for the money and not for the fame but always and forever...
What it really means to be part of a *team*...
For love of the game!!! '-)
