   About The Mexico Electric
Free Myspace Styles
We are a four-piece band, based in Charleston, that sprung out of a Chicago basement recording session (produced and recorded by Clarence Fraher of Technical Jed, Drunk, and the New Messengers). Nevin, Ian, and Andrew are also members of the psychedelic rock band, Frenchkiss Coma. And Brit, ex-singer/songwriter of the Eavesdroppers, and solo project, Jitterbug and Rain. This core group is a blend of all these past and present influences and projects.

If you love me, you'll come out to our show tonight 6-13! its our featured show!! really, you music and band people better come out and support if you want to have another savannah stage to play on.  Sinister Moustache (the nightmare cinema) Consider the Source (sci-fi-middle-eastern-funk) and Actual Proof (jazz that rocks a mean xylophone!) starts at 10:30.  small cover but free if you come before 9pm. -AMY at the WORMHOLE
Puppies & Kittens on Death Row

Jun 8 2009 5:06 PM

Six Black Lab puppies were just brought into animal control.  If you can't adopt, please consider sponsoring.  Your donation of around $50 will buy one of these pups some time by taking it off Death Row and making it more "adoptable."  Also, if you have some space, consider Foster Care. Its like Pet Sitting! you can watch the puppy in between Adopt-a-Thons.  It does not cost anything to be a Foster Parent.  And of course, adoption is the ultimate way you can help.  These babies deserve forever homes, not poisoned needles! Act quickly, pass the word.  Death Day is Thursday June 11 at 8am.
There were more pets brought in this week, including a Boxer Mix, and more.  Please check out their pics on our profile in "Dogs on Death Row" gallery.

Hope you will come out tonight! Suhgarim is a female fronted Columbia, SC band with a love for classic melodic metal acts such as Queensryche, Iron Maiden, and Dio. Recently reviewed by Power Play Rock & Metal Magazine Review, Suhgarim's drawing trait is the strong, agressive but melodic vocals of lead singer Trish Fleury. They will be performing tonight at the Wormhole, with Statesboro's Black Badge and Augusta's Eye of Abram.

Doors open at 6pm. No cover before 9pm. Dollar off all beer/wine until 9pm. First band at 9:30pm. $5 or only $3 with military/student ID or if you come in a group of 3 or more! 2307 Bull Street.
