I started playing guitar and writing songs at age 15... my subject matter has changed dramatically since then, but my basic goal hasn't. I play/write for fun, and although I enjoy performing I still can most often be found singing in my bathrobe rather than in public.

Turns out my speakers weren't so much "broken" as they were "turned off". I'm totally using the Beer Snob song on my profile. Even though I hate beer. Because it's just that awesome. Short of like, flying, what can't you do?
Since you're asking for comparisons... I'm hearing Kelly-Willis-esque stylings. Though the beginning of B&B reminds me of Ani DiFranco when she's doing her sweet voice.
